Going along with this theme there will not NO YOUTH GROUP Sunday November 18th due to Safe Nights. Have a wonderful thanksgiving...we will be having youth group the following Sunday November 25th.

Someoene seemed to miss place a Digital Camera last sunday at youth group :( And would really like it back! It had several memories on it and they need it back. The Awakening Music Festival

The Awakening Festival is this Saturday the 15th. We will be meeting at 12:30pm and leaving at 1pm for the concert. We will be going in a bus. If you have not already paid the cost is $13 and if you are able to give a few extra dollars to offset the cost of renting a bus for the day that would be appreciated. Thanks I look forward to seeing you all this weekend.

Hey All!!!

Your girl Lydia here to tell you that we have a new face on board!! His name is John Watson and he is our new youth pastor.

John graduated from Liberty University in Virginia, with a degree in Bible Studies. He is very active outside and with youth. His hobbies include...... Boating, deep sea fishing, photography, and hiking. He has lead small groups at Thomas Road for their middle school and is ready to work with the great youth of SPC!.......at least I hope so :) Let's do our best to welcome here with open arms and get ready for a great time with him!

One Life Mission #1 - Operation Neighborhood

This is your LAST DAY to ask your neighbors if they have anything we can take off their hands for our Burn Yard Sale tomorrow! A portion of the yard sale profits will go towards our "One Life accounts" for AIDS orphans in Africa.

Ways you can be a part of Mission #1:
1. Ask your neighbors today if they have anything to donate to our yard sale...Most importantly, learn your neighbor's names!
2. Bring Yard Sale stuff to SPC by 8pm tonight (Friday, May 25th).
3. Come help us sort and price the stuff tonight between 5-8pm.
4. Anytime after 4pm today, pick up a sign to advertise the yard sale in your neighborhood.
5. Come help out at the Yard Sale tomorrow between 8-2pm!

One Life -- for AIDS Orphans in Africa

The Burn has kicked off the One Life Revolution - a campaign to raise prayer, money, and awareness for the AIDS crisis in Africa. If you didn't receive your own One Life packet at the last Burn, be there this Sunday night, May 27th. Or email Jenelle. freshgreenbeans@yahoo.com

Local Mission Trip: Sat, April 14th

Our FIRST EVER BURN Mission trip will be on Saturday, April 14th! THE BURN will spend a whole day helping to BEAUTIFY Camp St. Charles, and get it ready for campers. Camp St. Charles a Christian camp at the furthest end of Chuck County, in Rock Point.

We'll be doing all sorts of things to clean up the camp...possibly painting, possibly cleaning, possibly gardening, and probably more.

We'll carpool down from SPC at 9:00am and we'll be back at 4:00pm. Meals will be provided. Wear old clothes and come ready to sweat for Jesus! And comment here if you're thinking of coming.
